What began as the Corporation Aircraft Owners Association (CAOA) in 1947, with less than 20 member companies, now has 8000 member companies and is one of the biggest aviation associations in the world. National Business Aviation Association, as it has been called since 1997, is focused on issues such as aviation safety, operational efficiency, fair and equal access, FAA reform, noise and compatible land use, reliever airports, air support, air traffic control modernization,  research and development, and business aviation advocacy.  NBAA 2012 kicked off with some great trade show displays and we helped a number of exhibitors this year in Orlando!

With this year’s convention being dedicated to Neil Armstrong, and a soiree featuring Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, this annual convention is not one to be missed.  Just walking the show floor you will see several full-size helicopters and airplanes, beautiful, intricately detailed models in a range of sizes and materials, full size engines, propellers, cabins, etc.  We have quite a few photos on our Facebook page.

If the exhibits at the Orange County Convention Center aren’t enough, there is also a Static Display at the Orlando Executive Airport.  The Static Display allows business aircraft buyers from around the world to evaluate a wide variety of aircraft options in person.
